Meet Megan Grace
Your body holds the stories of your life—the triumphs, the traumas, and the everyday moments that shape who you are. My journey to founding The Megan Grace MVMT began with my own healing. I’ve walked through divorce, military trauma, and the kind of harm that doesn’t just live in the mind but embeds itself in the body, in identity, in the way we learn to survive. Like so many, I was taught to push through—overthink, overwork, over-give—until I lost connection with my own wisdom.
Getting help for myself felt like walking through a dark tunnel, searching for flashlights. Traditional talk therapy and experiential work were invaluable, but I always felt awkward when I would break down, overwhelmed by all I was holding. My therapist would sit across the coffee table, maintaining professional boundaries, but what I really needed in those moments wasn’t just words—I needed a hug. I needed to feel, in my body, that I wasn’t alone.
That’s when massage therapy came into the mix. Finding a form of care that was ancient, potent, and deeply human changed everything. It gave my body a way to release what my mind had been working so hard to process. And as I continued my journey, I noticed something else—images would surface, messages would come through, and my intuition became undeniable. That was the missing piece. Healing couldn’t just happen through the mind or body alone. It needed space for all of it—the mind, the body, and the spirit—to work together in rewriting the stories we carry.
Through my training in psychology, massage therapy, Reiki, emotional intelligence, and the greatest teacher of all—life itself—I’ve come to understand that true transformation happens when we create new experiences that our nervous system can trust—through deep care, co-regulation, and the safety to rewrite the stories we carry.
And healing isn’t just personal—it’s generational. I believe deeply in creating spaces that feel safe, inclusive, and affirming for everyone, especially those whose families and ancestors have carried the weight of oppression, displacement, and systemic harm. Trauma is passed down, not just through stories but through our very DNA, shaping how we experience safety, connection, and belonging. But just as pain can be inherited, so can healing. I am committed to holding space for epigenetic healing—helping to shift patterns, restore a sense of agency, and create new pathways of resilience and joy. Because we all deserve to feel at home in our bodies and in the world around us.
This work changed my life. I can’t wait to see what it unlocks for you.
