Frequently Asked Questions
Thai massage is performed fully clothed with a mat on the floor, please wear clothing that allows for unrestricted movement
All bodywork is trauma informed and great for first time clients. We go at the pace of your body
I am a solution focused practitioner. I ask you how you feel now, and we work from there. There is no right or wrong answer, and you do not get extra credit points for suffering in silence on my mat :) We find easeful ways to work with the body, so it will work with us.
Sessions are coupled with customized Doterra essential oils to provide care for your specific needs
Sessions are 90 minutes or 2 hours- and y’all we use the whole time so that you get the most out of our time together.
I was in a motor vehicle Collision, are you able to help me with this kind of care?
Yes indeed, I will just need your claim number, claim representative’s information, and a perscription from your Dr or Chiro for the services. I have also been there, and recovered from a MVC, so I have deep empathy and some therapeutic tricks up my sleeve to help. Together we will care for the needs of your body, mind and spirit. A specific booking link will be sent to you, so that you can book your sessions at your leisure and it will be billed to your PIP insurance.
My bodywork might not be for you if:
*Your preference is a relaxation massage where you are able to fall asleep- we do a lot of communication throughout the treatment so the more alert you are and part of the process the better. I will unapologetically celebrate everything that your body does that is moving towards healing and growth, and that is no quiet adventure :) Relaxation massage is powerful as well, it is just not what I bring to the mat
*You prefer to be on a table and without clothing on for your bodywork- love me a good table massage but after learning about the benefits of Thai style bodywork, and the ease and inherent safety that clients can feel while wearing their own clothing, I love to do my work on the floor- and with the client fully clothed
*If it is a challenge for you to get up from the floor this might not be the treatment for you. Please know your body and honor their limits and needs, if you are concerned about your ability to move from the floor to standing, I will be happy to refer you to a practitioner that offers table work.
